Alanis Morissette

Alanis Nadine was born the 1st of June 1974. Her birthplace was Ottawa, Canada. Alanis can be described as the female version of Alan, her father's first name. Georgia is the name used by her mother. She also has two brothers, Chad Wade and Chad Wade. She started playing the piano and guitar when she was just 21. Alanis released a single in 1986 named Fate Stay With My (b part: Find The Right Man). The singer recorded two albums while dance-pop vocalists in Canada: Alanis (1991) and the album Now Is The Time (1992). She was 18 when she relocated to Toronto and collaborated with various performers and song writers, but they didn't seem to work. Glen Ballard was the producer/songwriter she chose in 1994. Glen previously had worked alongside Aretha Frankin Michael Jackson and Barbra Strreisand. They moved to LA when she was 19 years old. Madonna released "Jagged Little Pill" in a track on June 13th in 1995. Alanis has discovered an incredibly personal and autobiographical approach to writing songs. JLP sold around 30 million copies in the world, making it the best-selling female-oriented album of all time. Also, it is the 3rd most talked about album of all time.
