Marcia Gay Harden

Marcia Gay Harden was born on the 14th of August, 1959, in La Jolla, California, the youngest of five children. Beverly Bushfield was her mother. She employed as a domestic worker as Thad Harold Harden fought serving in the military. The first time she became interested in theatre while living within her home with her relatives in Greece and going to plays in Athens. Harden began her studies in Europe at American institutions and then moved to the US and completed her master's degree at University of Texas. In 1983, Harden earned her MFA at NYU. While she was in a film as early as 1986, in a film that was not widely known, The Imagemaker (1986), her first major role, coming alongside some TV film roles, was the sultry female fatale of"The Imagemaker," the Coen Brothers' cleverly offbeat tribute to the film of the same name, Miller's Crossing (1990). Harden's sultry portrayal of Verna, an enigmatic, attractive moll, was praised by critiques. Harden continued to work in support roles. She played Ava Gardner, a TV biopic based on Frank Sinatra.
