Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira was born on May 26 1978 at Campinas Sao Paulo, Brazil. She has acted on screen in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) as well as A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime on March 20, 2020. She is the manager of the Assassination Witness as well as an GI-TOC member on the Multilateral Engagement Team. The GI TOC's research is focused on murders (including disappearances) as well as violence and various other forms of crime in relation to illicit economies. Her interests in research also include the impact of organized crime on human rights and humanitarian rights, and legislation and policies. Ana Paula earned an LL.M. with honors in International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She is a qualified lawyer, having practised at an attorney firm that specialized in public law litigation for over four years. In addition, she worked in assisting posts at non-governmental institutions that are based within Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
